This Saturday sees the return of a beloved South West London dog show, celebrating 30 years since Pride took place on Clapham Common.
Hosted by Lee Peart, categories in this year’s Clapham Mutts Dog Show include best diva, waggiest tail, and best rescue, among others, with prizes for the winners.
There are also a range of performances and activities across the day for Clapham Pride Community Day, organised by Omnibus Theatre and This Is Clapham.
Hannah Petch, project coordinator for Omnibus Theatre, said: “Omnibus Theatre is delighted to be teaming up with This is Clapham once more for Clapham Pride Community Day, and its a joy to be partnering with Friends of Clapham Common once more to bring back the much loved Clapham Mutts Dog Show.
“We’re thrilled to be standing alongside other LGBTQ+ venues and businesses to bring Pride back to Clapham after 30 years.”

Omnibus Theatre started as a library in 1889; after a seven-year campaign to save it from developers, the building was converted into a theatre in 2013.
The dog show returns to The Polygon, Clapham Common, on Saturday 27 June between 2pm and 3pm.
The event is supported by Friends of Clapham Common and MuthaPuppa and is sponsored by Orlando Reid.
