Football fans are being encouraged to ditch the TV sets at home for the pub. One venue in Twickenham is pushing fans to join their fellow supporters in the venue. Not just to get behind their teams, but to soak up the atmosphere of the World Cup.
Brouge pub in Fulwell is not just playing the games but is also looking forward to hosting people of all different nationalities.
The pub are showing the matches on TV’s inside and in a beer garden outside.
They are also putting on specialised beers for the month in order to encourage fans to attend and enjoy the pub.
