Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found with stab wounds in a car which collided with a bus near Stockwell Tube station.

Babafemi Junaid, known as Femi, was taken to hospital after being found in his car during rush hour on Friday, but died later that night.

Officers believe the 22-year-old from Peckham was stabbed in Clapham Road and then got into his car, which was then in a collision with the bus.

A 16-year-old and 17-year-old boy were arrested yesterday.

A post-mortem examination found he died of a single stab wound to the heart.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Dave Reid said : “It appears that the stabbing may be linked to an earlier report of disorder on a 155 bus nearby.

“I am appealing foranyone who witnessed the stabbing to please come forward, in particular I would like to hear from anyone who was on the bus.”
