Former TOWIE star Joey Essex is attempting to get to grips with ground-breaking research as part of Cancer Research UK’s latest campaign.
The reality TV star donned safety glasses and a lab coat in a hilarious video which showcased his well-known catchphrases and his observations at how ‘sick’ science is.
He explained how the campaign will raise awareness about how research can save lives in the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
Joey said: “One in three of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. You can make a difference.
“You can help us Stand Up To Cancer. Right now, share this video, make a donation and please get this message out there.”
Stand Up To Cancer will culminate in a night of fundraising on Channel 4 on October 17, and will be hosted by Channel 4 favourites Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen.
The trio will front a star-studded night of television, packed with programming from entertainment and science to documentaries.
Men, women and children can register now to take part in the sponsored night-time walk, March On Cancer, which will take place simultaneously at 15 cities across the UK at 7.30pm on October 11.
The London event will start at Tower Bridge and take in key landmarks including the Shard, The Globe, Tate Modern and St Paul’s Cathedral.
