The London Palestine Film Festival (LPFF), highlighting rich stories of Palestinian life, culture, and resistance, returns to London from 14-28 November.
Opening at the Barbican on 14 November, LPFF aims to create spaces for discussion, spotlighting stories of political realities as experienced by Palestinians both at home and in the diaspora.
For the first time since its opening in the late 90s, the festival will expand beyond the capital, with screenings in Liverpool alongside its London programme.
Khaled Ziada, Founder and Director of LPFF, and Executive Producer of Together for Palestine said: “This year’s programme feels more urgent than ever, opening with the internationally acclaimed The Voice of Hind Rajab, a film that speaks to both the fragility and the resilience of Palestinian life.”
The highlights of the festival include the UK premiere of The Mission, a documentary directed by The Gaza Collective and Mike Lerner, which follows acclaimed British-Iraqi surgeon Dr. Mohammed Tahir on his third humanitarian mission to Gaza.
The line up will also include Palestine 36, Once Upon a Time in Gaza, and new films from celebrated filmmakers Yasmin Fedda, Sepideh Farsi and Kamal Aljafari.

LPFF will close on 28 November with a sonic and visual meditation on life in and beyond Gaza, exploring how war, memory and survival are etched into sound and silence.
This will be followed by a screening of All That’s Left of You, an Academy Awards® submission directed by Cherien Dabis, exploring three generations of a Palestinian family shaped by exile, resistance and inherited memory.
