More and more people are turning to chatbots to support their wellbeing – but are they actually good for your mental health?
According to Mental Health UK, one in three adults said they used an AI chatbot to assist their wellbeing last year.
Monica Hellman, from South West London, speaks to Chat GPT every week. She explained that the AI chatbot helps her to organise her thoughts, manage her emotions and make better, more informed decisions.
But while there is research to suggest that it can improve your mental health Dr David Crepaz Keay – head of research at the Mental Health Institute – warns it can also be dangerous.
