Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to open first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in the UK

Gordon Ramsay is set to open the first Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant in the UK in Spring 2026.

The opening of the Hell’s kitchen restaurant is billed to be an immersive dining experience based around an open kitchen.

The restaurant will be located at the Cumberland Hotel near Marble Arch.

The menu is made up of Ramsay’s signature dishes like his famous Beef Wellington, lobster risotto and sticky toffee pudding.

The restaurant concept is based on the TV series Hell’s Kitchen which aired in the UK until 2009 and is still running and popular in the US.

In the US reality competition cooking show, hosted by Ramsay, two teams of chefs compete for a job as a head chef at a restaurant.

The British celebrity chef hosted only one series of the UK version in 2004 in which he taught ten celebrity contestants how to cook in a London restaurant.

Ramsay is known for his fiery temper and blunt comments on his shows about contestants and their cooking abilities.

After the success of the TV show in the US, seven Hell’s Kitchen restaurants opened across different US states with the first one opening in Las Vegas in 2018.

In The Caterer Ramsay said: “Bringing Hell’s Kitchen to the UK for the first time is an incredible full circle moment.”

“London is where it all began in 1998, so this feels like a real homecoming.”

“Hell’s Kitchen is about fire, theatre and bold flavours, and I can’t wait to share the signature dishes guests love alongside new creations, developed especially for London’s diners.”

Gordon Ramsay restaurants Global was founded in 1998 and has become one of the largest restaurant groups in the UK.

The restaurant group currently holds eight Michelin Stars.
