Wimbledon to join national minute’s silence in memory of Tunisia terror attack victims

Wimbledon will come to a standstill at midday on Friday to join the national minute’s silence in memory of the Tunisian attack victims.

The All England Club today confirmed that play on the outside courts will start at 12.15pm instead of 11.30am.

Chief Executive Richard Lewis said: “Wimbledon will be joining the national minute’s silence on Friday and we will be asking all those in the grounds at the time to observe the silence out of respect to the victims in Tunisia and their families.”
