A 15-year-old boy was stabbed outside Sainsbury’s in Wandsworth on Saturday night.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing outside Sainsbury’s by Southside shopping centre, SW18, just before 8:45pm on Saturday, September 3.
Emergency services attended the scene on Garratt Lane and found the teenager suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.
He was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition, his next of kin have been informed.
It is understood the victim was with friends when two males on bicycles stopped and spoke to him – the victim was subsequently stabbed.
At this early stage of the investigation the suspects have been described as two black males on black pedal cycles.
Detective Sergeant Bronwen Powell, from Wandsworth CID, said: “We are thankful to the members of the public who stopped to help the victim prior to emergency services attending, and who have spoken to police about the incident so far.
“However, we are still keen to hear from anyone else who was in or around the Garratt Lane area, that may have seen or heard anything, and that they think may assist our investigation.”
