Former St Mary’s University student Alice Richardson will go head-to-head with New Zealand in the women’s rugby sevens semi-final tonight.
The 29-year-old vice-captain, who scored a try in Great Britain’s 26-7 victory against Fiji, plays for Richmond FC’s women.
The personal trainer has represented England at both sevens and full 15-a-side rugby, winning 36 caps for her country.

The team have won four games in two days in Rio, also beating hosts Brazil 29-3 and Japan 40-0, where rugby sevens makes its debut as an Olympic sport.
