Wandle Park
Croydon’s most beloved green space Wandle Park is has recently had a makeover.
TripAdvisor user Ollie C described the area’s regeneration as ‘absolutely stunning – a beautiful walk: very scenic’.
Whether it’s for a picnic, a stroll or to pick up a coffee at the park cafe, Wandle Park is a great space to check out.
The park has multiple football pitches, a new skate park, a ball court and even a bandstand.
Fairfield Halls
Fairfield Halls is south London’s largest arts and entertainment centre.
With a concert hall, theatre and a gallery, it is a perfect day out for anyone with an interest in arts and culture.
On August 21 there is a ‘Sweet and Sour’ tribute night, so pop lovers can enjoy non-stop Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo.

Flip Out
Flip Out is an amazing indoor trampoline and adventure park which is suitable for all ages.
With an indoor adventure golf, football, trampolines, laser tag, a roller rink, an ice rink and even an inflatable obstacle course, it is a fantastic way to get your blood pumping in the summer months.
TripAdvisor user CJK said: ” Great facilities- soft play, laser tag, a mini ice rink and mini golf, as well as football and more. Definitely worth going and the manager Tiana was super helpful and generally awesome. Definitely recommended.”

Shirley Windmill
Ever fancied spending a Sunday doing something different?
On the first Sunday of every month, you can go on a guided tour of one of the last windmills to be built in the country.
You will learn about Croydon’s Tower Mill and it’s history from passionate experts.

Centrale and Whitgift
When we inevitably have a gloomy day in August, why not check out Centrale and Whitgift?
There are lots of different shops to browse, including M&S, House of Fraser, New Look, JD Sports and River Island, and there is an excellent selection of restaurants to check out for when you get peckish.
Between McDonald’s, Cafe Giardino and Krispy Kreme, you’re spoilt for choice.
