Woman found dead in Twickenham churchyard identified as 28-year-old Julia Ratajczyk

A 28-year-old woman found dead in a Twickenham churchyard this week has been identified.

Julia Ratajczyk, of Carlton Drive, Putney, was found by a passerby on Tuesday morning in the graveyard of St Mary’s Parish Church in Church Lane on Tuesday.

Police were called at 7am to reports of an unconscious female where they cordoned off the area and erected a crime scene tent.

The London Ambulance Service attended and she was pronounced dead on the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

A postmortem examination took place at Kingston Mortuary on June 26, but no formal cause of death was given.

A police spokesman said: “No formal cause of death has been given and the results of further tests are awaited.

“Following the postmortem examination the death is now being treated as non suspicious.

An inquest was opened and adjourned at West London Coroner’s Court yesterday.
