It’s that time of year again, the day after Thanksgiving in the US, which can only mean one thing – Black Friday.

Yes, it’s traditionally a very American holiday but recently it has leaked into the UK with many of the major retailers offering Black Friday deals.

While the deals may not be as exciting as the American counterpart – don’t expect to see a £4000 TV for £100 – there are some companies who famously never have a sale unless it’s Black Friday.

Apple currently have their sale on, today only, and it cuts the price of a brand new fourth-generation iPad from £399 to £368 that’s £31.00!

Okay, that’s not very exciting at all, but at a company like Apple even a penny off is rare.

If you’re looking for more exciting tech deals on this extremely traditional tech holiday, then you best head over to Amazon who are currently having a whole week of low-prices.

The Amazon Kindle Fire, a tablet which matches the iPad Mini and the Nexus 7, is currently only £99, down from £129.

A decent sub-£100 tablet is very rare to come across, with the last tablet to drop under that mark being sold in a fire sale last year, the HP Touchpad.

If you really desperately want a tablet, but would prefer an iPad, the third-generation retina display iPad is currently going for £329 over at Currys, bringing it down to the price of the iPad 2 outside of Black Friday.

If you’ve always wanted a MacBook Pro, but can’t afford it, then may I suggest you head down to Currys and grab a 13” model for only £939, down from £1199.

Of course not everyone wants to buy hardware, some of you may just want a new game for your Android phone. That is all well and good because for today only, Google has you covered with their Black Friday sale starting from 69p.

If you’re a gamer, then Microsoft have launched their sale on Xbox Live, which celebrated 10 years last week.

The sale currently includes games such as Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2 for just £11.99.

However, if you’re a PC gamer the best place for cheap deals would be in the Steam Autumn Sale, which is currently offering up to 80% off.

With Black Friday coming just before Cyber Monday, you’ll no doubt see new deals starting come Monday.

So if you don’t buy anything today, then be sure to check for more deals when the Cyber Monday sales start!
