Two groups of women faced each other on Downing Street, both dressed in pink, both waving pink signs, but sending very different messages.
On 1 October, anti-migrant protesters, the “Pink Ladies”, staged a protest at Downing Street.
They expressed concerns about their children’s safety and called on the government to act.
Opposite them, “Women Against the Far Right,” coordinated by the campaign group Stand Up to Racism, staged a counter-protest.
They condemned the far right of weaponising women’s safety to spread racism and division.
When women stand divided by ideology, what do they want to say to each other?
Watch the video to hear from both sides.
