London runners invited to tackle picturesque 10k race through Fulham and Chelsea

London runners have the chance to lace up their trainers and hit the green traffic-free streets of Fulham during a 10k run later this year.

Vitality WestRun London will host its inaugural route on November 15 starting at 9am in Eel Brook Common and taking in the picturesque routes of New Kings Road, Fulham Road and Parsons Green.

Designed as a community festival for runners of all ages and abilities, the route offers the perfect opportunity to run with friends, family and neighbours.

Jamie Warren, from the race organiser Achieve Events race organiser, Jamie Warren, said: “WestRun London offers local families and the community the perfect way to kick off their Sunday, in one of London’s most attractive boroughs.

“With completely closed roads, this major new race promises its runners a fantastic flat route, cheering crowds on some of London’s most iconic streets and the perfect race village situated on Eel Brook Common.

“Whether you’ve already got the running bug, or are a first timer looking to take on a fun new challenge with family and friends, this is a celebration for everyone that you won’t want to miss!”

The event will also play host to a one-mile Family Fun Run, so everyone over the age of four can get involved.

Runners can also take part in the team challenge which will take place within the main 10k race and is open to anyone.
