South West London residents are being urged to take part in a project to celebrate Clapham Junction’s 150th birthday.

The ‘Our Future Our Past’ photo project invites the public to take part by sending in their photos of the station, and all selected images will be edited by the organisers to include Victorian characters.

The selected images will then be displayed at a special exhibition at the station in July, when a steam train will pass through to commemorate the anniversary.

The project is being held by the Clapham Junction Town Centre Partnership, in conjunction with South West Trains, and sponsored by Battersea estate agent Bullman Booth.

If you would like to take submit a photograph of Clapham Junction, email a photo before 1st May 2013 to [email protected].

Photos taken in the morning light, without use of the flash, will work best for this project and will most likely be included in the final exhibition. Smart phone photos will be accepted.
