“Copper really is everywhere at the moment and totally on trend so it’s no surprise that Copper Blush is this year’s Colour of the Year,” she said.

“The shade is full of warmth and it was a real pleasure to wake up in such a beautifully styled bedroom setting.”

The stylish photo shoot was inspired by Sir Frederic Leighton’s Flaming June painting.

Sophie grew up in south-west London attending schools in Twickenham and Hammersmith, before she embarked upon a successful music career.

And her association with this fiery brand of paint is sure to stir memories of her sizzling performances on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2013.

Partnering renowned dancefloor lothario Brendan Cole, Sophie’s cool exterior belied her temperature-raising dancing.

She topped the leaderboard twice on her way to the final, ultimately finishing in fourth place behind Susanna Reid, Natalie Gumede and winner Abbey Clancy.

And only last month Sophie was also unveiled as the face of Phase Eight’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

This follows her first taste of the modelling world last September when she became the legs of Pretty Polly lingerie, also helping to design the Flirty range.
