Seasoned dinner hosts and party planners will be delighted by the opening of a new branch of the COOK chain on the Fulham Road recently.

The shop, which opened three weeks ago, provides frozen meals with a new twist. Each meal is homemade and made with the same ingredients you would use in your own kitchen.

James Rutter, Head of Communications at COOK, explained that Fulham has long been a target area for the chain.

He said: “We’ve always wanted a shop on Fulham Road. We’ve been around 15 years and it’s taken us this long to find a property, so it’s the culmination of a long held ambition.”

Established in 1997, COOK started out with the desire to provide wholesome food for busy homes that find the process of cooking too time consuming.

The idea rapidly took off and the business has over 60 shops across London and Mr Rutter explained that plans to expand in South West London would be ideal.

“We’re definitely on the lookout for more sites in South West London, it is an area we’ve always had our eye on,” he said.

The service has proved popular with those hosting dinner parties as the laborious task of cooking is obsolete thanks to the simplicity and great quality of the food.

“It’s that stress-free way of entertaining so you don’t have that mad panic rushing around, sweating in the kitchen while your guests are next door getting merry,” explained Mr Rutter.

COOK remains a family business with the same ethos of great tasting homemade food with emphasis on quality and saving time for the customer.

The menu accommodates for all dietary requirements including vegetarian and gluten free and they also provide an online delivery service with an optional gift message.
