Eastern seaboard states are a sea of blue tonight as Hillary Clinton rakes in the electoral votes in the states that have been called early.
Clinton has already won the Vermont (3), Delaware (3), District of Columbia (3), Maryland (10), Massachusetts (11), New Jersey (14), Rhode Island (4) and Connecticut (7).
Add Illinois (20) to that and Clinton is already on 75 votes.
Republican Donald Trump has secured Indiana (11), Kentucky (8), West Virginia (5), South Carolina (9), Alabama (9), Oklahoma (9), Mississippi (6), Tennessee (11), Arkansas (6) – leaving him on 72 votes.
Trump winning the leaning state of South Carolina is an early boost for him – putting some red back on the map on the East coast.
