Kenyan president mourns Prince Philip as ‘symbol of family values’

Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta joined with global leaders to pay his respects to Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, following his death on Friday.

President Kenyatta said:  “His Royal Highness Prince Philip has been a towering symbol of family values and the unity of the British people as well as the entire global community.”

“Certainly, we mourn a great man who cherished and worked for peaceful co-existence of the human race.”

The President of Kenya also said that the Kenyan People and Government stand in solidarity with the Royal Family, United Kingdom and mourners around the world.
