Stilettos, sequins and suede! London Fashion Weekend hits Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery

London Fashion Week invites you to one of the most prestigious fashion events in Europe this weekend.

London Fashion Weekend at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea gives you the chance to be a part of the fashion event of the capital.

Unlike London Fashion Week (LFW), the London Fashion Weekend is open to the public and gives everyone a chance to experience the fashion and glamour of LFW with the added advantage buying the latest looks from the catwalk and learning about the industry.

Attendees can choose to see some of the amazing designer catwalk shows from LFW as well as trend catwalk showcasing the best of lace, suede and winter floral looks.

The most anticipated designer shows include Preen by Tornton and Bregazzi presenting their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, in collaboration with UGG.

The talented Jackie Lee will present her J. JS Lee collection featuring menswear-inspired pieces with spasmodic feminine applications that make for a stunningly beautiful androgynous look.

Featuring silk legwarmers, oversized tweed coats and layered office looks in scarlet, bright mustard and lighter creams, the collection offers a powerful look for the fashion conscious.

As well as the opportunity to boast a front row seat at some of the best designer and trend shows of the season, there will be opportunities to attend talks by top industry influencers.

London College of Fashion will present a talk on careers in fashion and explore the different areas that one can be involved in the industry.

Staying with this theme, Glamour magazine’s fashion editor Lucy Walker will host a talk on the role of a fashion editor, alongside Stylist’s executive fashion director Kitty McGee and fashion consultant Nathalie Riddle.

Martha Ward’s panel discussion on the digital fashion era is also not to be missed.

Panellists will include former Google industry manager for fashion, Pia Stanchina, business director Rosana Falconer (Mathew Williamson) and John Vary, innovation manager for John Lewis.

Daisy Lowe will also host a talk with Ms Ward titled ‘Daisy Lowe in conversation with Martha Ward.’

Other key talks include a discussion on sartorial suiting by creative director Patrick Grant of Savile Row’s Norton & Sons, and Agent Provocateur’s creative director Sarah Shotton’s talk on building an international business.

Top fashion brands including Armani Exchange, Milly and Carter, Mathew Calvin and Alexander White will all be selling their designs at insider prices.

London Fashion Weekend will be on until September 25 at the Saatchi Gallery.
