Art for Youth is celebrating its last year working with youth work charity UK Youth after 38 years together with an exhibition in central London.
The charity exhibition takes place at the Mall Galleries in the City of Westminster from 3 to 6 November.
It is an annual contemporary art exhibition and charity fundraiser that provides a prominent platform for emerging artists while raising money.
The exhibition was founded in 1988 by Diana Brooks, who was later awarded an MBE for her service to charity and young people.
She said: “We raise money for the charity and also to give young artists an opportunity to show their work and give them that step on the ladder.”

Art for Youth has raised £2.8 million for UK Youth, supporting young vulnerable people and also provided the opportunity for emerging artists to have their work displayed in a central London gallery.
This year Art for Youth features more than 1000 works of art by more than 140 artists. All the art is available to buy, with 35% of the price going to the charity.

The ‘Diana Brooks’ prize consists of a cheque for £1000 and a bottle of champagne. It is given to an artist of Diana’s choice under the age of 35.
She explained that last year it was awarded to a young boy who was self taught and never had an art lesson, giving him confidence that someone else believed in his work.
Diana said: “This is really rewarding as well as raising money for the charity for young people.”
Tickets are on sale for each day of the Art for Youth exhibition, which takes place from 3-6 November at the Mall Galleries, with free entry available during the day from Wednesday to Friday.
