Croydon murder victim named: Police continue investigation after man, 21, stabbed in South Norwood park

A Croydon man who was stabbed to death on Saturday has been named.

David Darko from South Norwood was found unresponsive at South Norwood Recreational Ground close to Tennison Road on January 23.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene where the 21-year-old man was found suffering a stab wound – he was pronounced dead at 8.45pm.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
