Pubs gear up kegs and screens for late-night World Cup watching

Pubs are gearing up their bars, their screens and their kegs ahead of the World Cup starting on Thursday this week.

Pubs throughout London are selling out their seats in what is going to be a unique World Cup.

Throughout London and the UK licenses have been permitted to be extended with some up until 2am due to late night kick off’s as matches are being played in the Americas.

The SW Londoner visited an iconic pub to watch the Three Lions, to see what their preparations looked like.

Speaking to managers and customers at The Ship in Wandsworth, they told us their expectations and what to look out for in the upcoming weeks of the infamous international competition.
