Kew Gardens has unveiled the largest outdoor exhibition of works by Henry Moore, inviting visitors to get up close to the sculptures, produced by one of the most recognised artists of the 20th Century.
Featuring 30 monumental sculptures, Moore’s work is set against the backdrop of one of London’s most visited green spaces.
Presented in partnership with the Henry Moore Foundation, an organisation established by Moore in 1977 to preserve his legacy and creations, the exhibition brings together some of his most celebrated works.
Moore was an English visual artist best known for his abstract sculptures inspired by the human body.
The exhibition explores the relationship between art and nature, with sculptures positioned throughout the gardens to compliment Kew’s landscapes.
Sebastiano Barassi, head of Henry Moore collections, said: “Landscapes like Kew’s are the ideal setting to experience his works.
“This is a marriage made in heaven and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see so many works by Moore in one place.”
The exhibition is at Kew Gardens from now until the 31st of January 2027.
