Ross McCormack praises strike partner Moussa Dembélé as Fulham look to take on Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers v Fulham @ Ewood Park

Tuesday February 16 @ 20.00

Moussa Dembélé and Ross McCormack will be leading the line as Fulham attempt back to back wins to provide a cushion from the drop zone.

The strikers both found the back of the net in the win against QPR and it is clear they are hungry for more.

The Cottagers will be looking to capitalise on their first win under new boss Slaviša Jokanović as they face a Blackburn side that are winless in nine league matches.

“Moussa’s a young boy but he’s got the ability and potential to go to the top,” said McCormack.

“As you can see, he’s got the physique, pace, power, touch; it’s all there.”

The trip to Ewood Park will be a tricky one for Fulham, who remain just one point ahead of Blackburn despite having played two more games.

Jokanović said: “The players have been working very hard in training and this is good for their confidence – they can start to believe they are really good footballers and can play good football.”

Fulham’s injury-hit season took another blow as Lasse Vigen Christensen limped off early on in the game against QPR and is likely to miss out with a hamstring problem.

Midfielder Matt Grimes is likely to make his debut for Blackburn, who have only scored four goals in their previous ten league games.

Despite Rovers dismal league form, the omens still lay in favour of the Lancaster side, who have lost just one of their last nine contests against Fulham.
