WATCH: Light and laser show replaces a London fireworks display

Hammersmith and Fulham Council held their first light and laser show as an environmentally conscious alternative to fireworks on Bonfire Night.

The show, held in two parks across the borough featured a 15-minute show set to music from movies.

It was an environmentally conscious effort on a night which typically sees fireworks and a bonfire.

Fawkes Festival created the light and laser show, which was held alongside a funfair and multiple food stalls.

However, some of those in attendance were underwhelmed by the show, with one saying that they were glad they were given a free ticket as they would not have been willing to pay to attend.
