WATCH: Rugby fans celebrate Women’s Six Nations decider at Allianz Stadium

Twickenham fans revelled in the opportunity to witness the Red Roses secure their seventh straight Women’s Six Nations title.

England women survived a ferocious comeback from France to secure a 43-42 victory on Saturday 26 April.

Ahead of the home World Cup in August and September, the match provided a preview of what players and fans may expect.

Steph, a fan from Bedfordshire, said: “I think it’s absolutely excellent that England women get to play at the Allianz.

“Women’s rugby is just coming on leaps and bounds, which is really lovely to see, and I think it’s a great thing for young girls coming up in the sport to see as well, how big a deal it’s been made.”

The match against France was the third tournament in a row where England played their final home match of the Six Nations at the Allianz Stadium.

The stadium will play host to the third-place match and the final of the World Cup on Saturday 27 September.
