The City of London Darts Association (CoLDA) secured a narrow 76–75 victory over Guernsey in their annual cross-channel charity tournament.
The three-day event culminated in a dramatic finale at the Central Ward Residents Club in Morden, with the English side clinching the win with just two games to spare.
The tournament, which rotates between London and Guernsey, has been a key social fixture for more than a decade.
CoLDA chairman Paul Clark reflected on its humble beginnings: “It started with just ten of us going over for a laugh, but it’s evolved every year since.
“It’s all good fun and there’s lots of banter, but we’re always respectful.
“You could meet someone you’d never speak to, but darts can bring you together.”
Beyond the competition, the event also serves as a vital fundraiser for Abigail’s Footsteps, a charity supporting families navigating the loss of a child.
