WATCH: Queens Park Rangers launches NFTs range

At the end of 2021, Queens Park Rangers football club launched its first edition of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens.

The collectibles are designed to look like a retro Panini football player card, can either be kept and traded as they are, or minted as an NFT.

South West Londoner spoke to Euan Inglis, Queens Park Rangers’ commercial director about the club’s decision to invest in NFTs, as well as future plans to develop technologies for the club using the blockchain.

We also spoke to Olivia Yallop, digital trend analyst and author of Break the Internet, about why NFTs might represent the future of sports merchandising.
