Non-League preview: Sutton go to Farnborough looking to end bad run of form

Sutton United are looking to bounce back this weekend after their shock FA Cup third qualifying round exit to Burgess Hill Town last Saturday.

Sutton were expected to beat the Ryman South Division side but lost 3-1 after a disappointing performance.

This Saturday they have the chance to put things right when they travel to Farnborough, who will also be hoping to get back to winning ways in the Conference South after suffering back-to-back league defeats.

In the Ryman Premier, sixth place Metropolitan Police are at home to south London rivals Dulwich Hamlet, who are just five points ahead of them in fourth.

But Police will take comfort in the fact they won at Dulwich last season, essentially ending Hamlets’ chances of the league title.

Meanwhile Kingstonian host Billericay Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough, who are hoping to end their poor run of form, travel to Bognor Regis Town.

In the FA Trophy on Saturday, Tooting & Mitcham will host Aylesbury FC and Corinthian Casuals travel to Leighton Town.

Walton Casuals host East Grinstead Town and Walton & Hersham are away to Needham Market.

In the Combined Counties Football League, Raynes Park Vale and Colliers Wood United are both away this Saturday as they play at Camberley Town and Mole Valley SCR.
