Non-league preview: Sutton look to extend unbeaten league run against Hemel Hempstead Town

Sutton United will hope to extend their unbeaten Conference South run to five games against Hemel Hempstead Town at Gander Green Lane tomorrow.

The Us, in 10th place, lie just three points outside the play-off places and head into the game on the back of last week’s 1-1 draw with Eastbourne Borough, while The Tudors are only two points further back in 16th place.

Jim Cooper’s Metropolitan Police entertain Dulwich Hamlet in the FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round. Ryan James’ goal helped The Met see off Billericay Town in the first qualifying round.

Kingstonian travel to Walton Casuals on Tuesday in the Ryman League Cup Second Round. Two Nathaniel Pinney strikes and one from Elvis Hammond saw The Ks triumph against Corinthian Casuals in the first round.

In the same tournament, Hampton and Richmond Borough host Harlow Town. Moussa Diarra’s 83rd minute winner helped The Beavers triumph 2-1 over The Met in the first round.

In Ryman Division One South, 12th placed Corinthian Casuals welcome Ramsgate to King George’s Field. Casuals have lost three games on the bounce, while the visitors could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to strugglers Horsham last time out.

Elsewhere in the division, 20th place Carshalton Athletic will be looking to put distance between themselves and the relegation places when they welcome Three Bridges to Colston Avenue.

Walton and Hersham host Hastings United buoyed by back-to-back victories in league and cup, while rock-bottom Walton Casuals entertain league leaders Faversham Town in search of just their third league win of the season.

Combined Counties League side Raynes Park Vale and Colliers Wood United will both be hoping for positive results as they take on Chertsey Town and Windsor respectively.
