Non-League preview: Sutton United look to maintain winning streak as league rivals struggle

Sutton United are unbeaten in their last six games against Eastbourne, though the Us are without a win in their last three home games in the Conference South so they will look to outrank their visitors this Saturday.

The teams sit 12th and 13th respectively in the table, on the same number of points with only one goal separating the two.

Jim Cooper’s Metropolitan Police lie sixth in the Ryman Premier Division having run up a nine game unbeaten record at home, boosting their hopes for promotion this season.

The Met will welcome Witham who sit five points above the relegation zone.

Hampton and Richmond Borough travel to Bury Town hoping the curse of the 3-0 score line featuring in their last three games, doesn’t follow them to Suffolk.

Sitting sixth in the Ryman League South, Tooting and Mitcham expect another routine home victory against East Grinstead Town who, before last week, were without a win in eight games.

South Park, who face Corinthian-Casuals this weekend, have featured in five matches involving a 4-1 score line, losing four of those.

The Casuals will hope to make it five with only one point separating the two.

Carshalton Athletic are 18th in the table and enduring a streak of seven games without a win.

But the Robins will take some positives from a 4-0 win against Ramsgate last week. Carshalton face Merstham this Saturday who are unbeaten in seven.

Rock bottom Walton Casuals, who have conceded 39 goals in 16 games, face high-flying Folkestone Invicta away.

The Stags won in this fixture last season but lost the previous 9 meetings.

Colliers Wood United have a home match against Guildford City who sit next to bottom of the Combined Counties League Premier Division.

Raynes Park Vale lost 3-1 to Westfield in the FA Vase last Saturday and will face them again in the league this weekend.

Despite their cup win, Westfield have lost the last four out of five league games and The Vale will hope to keep up their excellent home record.
