Police appeal for witnesses after woman killed by car in Teddington on Monday

A woman was killed after being struck by a car in Teddington on Monday.

The collision happened at around 11pm on Kingston Road — near the junction with Ferry Road.

Police arrived at the scene soon after the incident and administered emergency life support to the woman but she was later pronounced dead.

While next of kin have been informed, police are awaiting a formal identification.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.

The police are currently appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information.
