Four men found ‘slumped’ in Kingston town centre after suspected drug use

Four men found ‘slumped in the road’ and fitting in Kingston town centre are being attended to by ambulance services and police.

Initial reports from Kingston police believe the men are suffering from effects of taking ‘shared drugs’ and have closed the Eden Road area to pedestrians.

Unconfirmed eyewitness reports suggest there may be a fifth man being attended to but police have yet to confirm this.

Shoppers have been warned to stay away from Adams Walk while emergency services, including at least four police cars and two ambulances, deal with the incident.

Sergeants policing Kingston town centre have posted images of traffic build up as roads remain cordoned off.
