A netballer from Putney is hoping to raise £2000 to help achieve her dream of playing for the England Indoor Squad.

Theresa Seidu plays for Lavender Park Netball Club and was selected for the squad which will be travelling to the Tri-Nations tournament in South Africa this September.

Theresa, 33, has only been playing indoor netball, which is a faster version of the game, for one year and was delighted to be chosen for the squad.

“I am thrilled and honoured to be selected and I can’t wait to head to South Africa,” she said.

In order to make the trip of a lifetime, Theresa must find the money to pay for travel, training expenses and kit, as unlike outdoor netball, the indoor version of the game is not sponsored.

“Anyone who can sponsor me or support me in any way would be a huge boost,” she added.
