Chelsea FC will hold a special Halloween sleepover for young fans at Stamford Bridge Stadium on November 2.

Junior Blues fans will have the opportunity to enjoy an all-night spook-tacular experience at the famous stadium with the chance to sleep in the club’s museum.

As the sun sets and night descends over Stamford Bridge, those taking part will embark on a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, including visiting the press room and spectacular home dressing room before walking through the tunnel and taking a seat in the home dug-out.

There will also be an opportunity to take part in a game of five-a-side football on an inflatable pitch.

A spokesman for the club said: “It promises to be a great night for Blues fans. We have already had a great response and tickets are being sold fast.”

Season-ticket holder Mark Griffiths bought tickets for himself and his football-mad sons Kyle, 9 and Oscar, 7.

He said: “We went to the event before and my sons and they loved it. My family are all die-hard Chelsea fans and to be able to spend the night at the stadium is an unforgettable experience for the children.

“Kyle’s favourite player is Frank Lampard and Oscar’s favourite is… unsurprisingly… Oscar! They are excited about stadium tour and looking behind the scenes where their idols play.”

Chelsea’s very own Stamford the Lion mascot will join in the party in the museum to play ‘Pin the bow tie on Mr Bones’, ‘Halloween Bingo’ and ‘Mummy Wrap’.

Breakfast the following morning will be provided.

Fans will need to bring sleeping bags and mat, pillow, toothbrush, torch and clothing to sleep in.

Previous Halloween sleepovers were sold out well in advance and fans are advised to snap up tickets quickly.

Tickets for the event are priced at £40 for children and £17 for adults.

Children must be accompanied by a same-sex adult.

You can book a maximum of five tickets, which includes a ticket for a parent or guardian.
