‘Go enormous’: Big south west London names wish Queen Elizabeth right royal knees up for 90th birthday

From debating the pronunciation of ‘scone’ to moaning about the weather, nothing is more British than putting up the bunting and celebrating the Queen’s birthday.

So in true 21st century style the big names of south west London took to Twitter to wish Queen Elizabeth a Happy 90th Birthday this morning .

MP for Chelsea and Fulham Greg Hands kicked celebrations off early this morning.

Conservative Mayoral candidate and MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston Zac Goldsmith got a bit emotional.

Labour Mayoral candidate and Tooting MP Sadiq Khan came over all patriotic.

Whereas MP for Kingston and Surbiton James Berry kept things minimalist.

MP for Carshalton and Wallington Tom Brake went all out.

Merton funny-man David Walliams used his obligatory tweet to name drop.

No hasthtag was needed as Richmond comedian Shappi Khorsandi wished her old pal Liz a Happy Birthday.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home went for a #ThrowbackThursday.

And finally, everyone’s favourite Made in Chelsea star expects the Queen to go large. Jägerbomb anyone?
