If you haven’t heard of the hilariously funny Sandi Toksvig, you will recognise her. She’s been on shows ranging from Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week, QI and currently presents BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’ – and that’s just the start. Now she’s venturing into new territory, as she dusts off the microphone and takes part in her first major solo in years to celebrate the release of her new novel ‘Valentine Gray’. We highly recommend picking up the novel and heading down to the show, she’ll no doubt have you in stitches, and laughter is the best medicine.

The Editor’s Picks: Designer’s Guild, Chelsea

You’ve no doubt heard that London Fashion week begins this week, but did you also know it’s the beginning of the London Design Festival? Celebrating all things interior design, the Editor’s Picks at the Designer Guild in Chelsea is an event collaborating with ten fashion and interior editors from top magazines, such as Vogue and Elle. They’ve all created their own chair which will be on show during London’s Design Festival, and what’s more it’ll be available to purchase at the end of the festival, with all profits going to Maggie’s Charity.

 It’s free to go look, so why not go have a gander?

The Tree-athalon is a yearly event which you’ve no doubt heard of and if you haven’t, then this year is your time to get involved. With the day split into 3 parts, there’s no doubt something for everyone, even a chance to mingle with celebrities such as Alex James from Blur or even 80s pop star Sinitta. If that’s still not enough to whet your appetite then you’ll also be aiming to beat a world record! One held by tree-athalon anyway! Now who could say no to a bit of exercise and helping our environment?
