Croydon stabbing leaves teenager dead in second London attack in 24 hours

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Thornton Heath last night, being the second attack within 24 hours leaving a teenager dead.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene at Georgia Road around 11pm last night. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before midnight.

A murder investigation is now being conducted by the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC).

The boy’s identity has not yet been released as police are awaiting formal identification and confirmation that his next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have been made.
