Faster Christmas! Santas needed for Clapham run for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Thousands of Santas will run rings around Clapham Common on Sunday 9 December to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Runners will attempt the 5k or 10k route while dressed as Father Christmas at the London Santa Dash this weekend.

Both children and adults are welcome at the fun-run and every participant is given a free Santa suit to wear on the day.

With a flat course, the the event is available for runners of all ability and the course is also fully accessible for participants in wheelchairs.

Dogs are welcome to take part but have to bring their own fancy dress.

The London Brass Band will be keeping the Santas motivated with mulled drinks and mince pies awaiting the finishers at the event village afterwards.

FUN FOR ALL: The event is suitable for all the family.

Great Ormond Street Hospital looks after seriously ill children and the charity brings in essential money to support them and their families.

The charity funds pioneering research, state of the art medical equipment, support services for the children and families as well as the cost to continually rebuild and refurbish the hospital.

The research and treatment gives hope to children from all over the UK with the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions. See for more information and to sign up.
