London Elections 2016: Tony Devenish set to secure West Central GLA seat and maintain Tory streak

Conservative GLA candidate Tony Devenish is set to secure the West Central seat with a comfortable lead in the count.

With 64 per cent of votes verified at Olympia the Tory is well ahead of Labour candidate Mandy Marie Richards.

A victory for Mr Devenish would see him take outgoing Kit Malthouse’s seat and maintain his party’s 16-year streak in the constituency.

Mr Malthouse is stepping down after becoming an MP for North West Hampshire last year.
