Hammersmith and Fulham Council have released YouTube footage of two men urinating in lifts in an attempt to catch the hooligans.

The first incident took place at Shepherds Court on the Charecroft Estate on Thursday May 23 at 3.40pm. The man, aged in his early 20’s, wore grey tracksuit bottoms, a   grey-hooded top and a black North Face jacket.

The second incident occurred at Roseford Court, also on the estate, at 5:30 on Friday June 14. A youth entered the lift on the 17th floor before urinating in the corner.

Councillor Andrew Johnson, cabinet member for housing, urged anyone who knows the men to come forward.

“These are truly disgraceful acts committed by mindless morons who simply refuse to live by the rules of a civilised society,” he said.

“The message to hooligans like this is even when you think that there is no-one around, we are watching you.”

The acts were captured by the Council’s state-of-the-art CCTV system which is linked to numerous estates across the borough and relays images back to Hammersmith Town Hall where trained operatives scour the footage.

Last year, the council named and shamed a lout who was caught on camera urinating in a lift at Bush Court.

Council officers decided that his actions amounted to a breach of his family’s tenancy and issued the family with a Notice of Seeking Possession (NOSP) to encourage good behaviour.

The council also revealed the name of a man who stood idly by while his friend used a lift on the Edward Woods Estate as a toilet. He was also served with a NOSP.
