A pub in Twickenham is hosting a family friendly Halloween market to bring the local community together and support small businesses.
The Admiral Nelson, in Whitton, has been transformed into a seasonal market, offering a variety of events for people of all ages from 12pm on 31 October.
The activities included are face painting, costume competitions, arts and crafts, Halloween themed entertainment, as well as a variety of stalls selling handmade crafts and unique gifts.
The market aims to support local creators, gain exposure and give back to the community, with all deposits used to support Whitton’s food bank.
Monique Smith, the organiser of the event, said: “Whitton is a very community driven area so she loves to give back to the community and bring everyone together.
“Everyone knows everyone and loves to pitch in.”

The pub is also hosting a cocktail party from 8pm onwards, with live DJs, themed cocktails and special deals for the older audience.
Monique originally came up with the idea of hosting festive markets to help her mum’s small crochet business and attract more awareness to smaller businesses.
The market transformation has previously taken place last Christmas and summer.
“However this is looking to be the biggest one yet,” Monique added.

The market is still very fresh and looking to grow, with a lot of existing stalls returning, as well as new vendors offering different supplies.
The seasonal market is looking to return every quarter of the year for events such as Christmas, Easter, summer, and Halloween.
Halloween lovers will be able to visit the market from 12pm to 5pm, which will be followed by a cocktail party starting at 8pm. For more information, visit The Admiral Nelson pub’s website.
