Hampton Beer Festival hosted its tenth edition in early June with a celebration featuring local brewers, bands and beer lovers.
The festival was set up in 2016 by a group of Scout leaders and beer enthusiasts from the 1st Hampton Hill Sea Scouts as a way to celebrate the community whilst raising money for worthy causes.
Organiser Elaine Davies said: “Ten years ago the decision was made that we’d switch up from jumble sales, and every year it keeps growing and growing.”
“Lots of people tell us not to make it too big because we want it to stay as a nice, community event.”
The festival also donates to national and local charities such as Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and River Thames Boat Project, who get disabled and disadvantaged people on the water.
The winning beer in 2025 was Sussex Best by Harvey’s Brewery, as voted by punters over the weekend.
