LISTEN: The rise of arcade bars and pubs in London

Londoners have near infinite choice when deciding where to go for a night out, with a growing number of adult-only arcades joining the city’s ranks.

Chains such as NQ64 and Four Quarters have several branches across the capital, inviting adults for a nostalgic trip to the games of their youth.

Arcade bars are especially suited to those stepping away from alcohol, in light of recent figures showing 41% of people in Greater London planned to take part in Dry January.

We visited The Thieves, a pub in Battersea, and 90s-themed bar Bunga 90 in Covent Garden, both of which have recently converted part of their premises into an arcade.
