WATCH: Natural History Museum questions whether life could exist beyond Earth

The Natural History Museum is currently displaying a research exhibition exploring whether life could exist beyond Earth.

The exhibition, titled “Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth?”, encourages visitors to touch a piece of Mars and our moon, and experience what other planets in our solar system could smell like.

With support from the European Space Agency, the event features interactive elements, such as games and videos, to help visitors understand the complex research showcased.

The information presented is accessible to the general public, including those without prior scientific knowledge.

The Londoners recently visited the exhibition and spoke with some of the leading scientists in space research, including those who worked on the research featured in the exhibition.

Tickets for the event are available on the Natural History Museum website until 22 February 2026.
