Film festivals that are happening in London

Following a summer of blockbusters, indie cinema fans often cannot wait for autumn and this year is no different with a stellar list of film festivals.

Across London, there is a diverse selection of quality on offer with both online and in-person events happening in November.

Now is the time to get booking!

Here are a list of film festivals that are happening near you this month:

UK Jewish Film Festival

This is the 27th edition of the festival which will be taking place from November 9 to 19 with a national tour taking place from 9-30 November.

If you can’t attend don’t you worry as you will be able to watch it online November 20 to 27.

The top films that will be showcased are the following:

  • Kidnapped directed by Marco Bellochio – November 18
  • My Father’s Secrets directed by David Freedman – November 16
  • Q&A with David Baddiel
  • My Daughter. My Love directed by Eitan Green – November 19 

Tickets can be purchased online for £45.

Soho House Film Festival

The UK Film Festival has partnered up with Soho House and Close-Up Cinema screening films on Friday November 24 ranging from UK premiere feature films to music shorts and documentaries.

London Palestine Film Festival 

This will be taking place from November 17 to 30 across London from Hoxton to Soas University. There will be a range of films that amplify the Palestinian voices touching on culture and politics.
