Are you looking for immersive Christmas experiences in London for the whole family this festive season?

Look no further, here is a list of incredible Christmas experiences taking place this year in and around London. 

Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure

This Christmas embark on London’s new immersive festive experience, Wishmas.

Wishmas is a 60 minute festive walkthrough experience complete with live actors and magical storytelling fit for the whole family.

Starting in the Old Bauble Factory in Waterloo, visitors will discover the seasonal secrets of Wishmas to help keep Christmas on track along with wintry crafts in the Wishmas Fair.

The experience includes meeting Father Christmas and other festive friends such as Wishkeepers and Robins.

Wishmas will be taking place from Nov 14 to Jan 7 boasting to be a magical realm where your Christmas dreams come to life.

There are three experiences on offer at Wishmas, the Wishmas Meet & Greet Experience, The Full Wishmas Experience, and the Wishmas Standard Experience.

The Great Christmas Feast

Step into Victorian London with Charles Dickens at The Lost Estate for the Great Christmas Feast.

Become a guest of honour as Charles Dickens tells a ghostly Christmas story, along with a three-course festive feast. 

Taking place from November 14 to January 14, guests can choose from three festive experiences, Classic Dining from £149.50, Charlie’s Circle from £189.50, or Charlie’s Circle  ‘royale’ from £259.50.

It is Christmas Eve of 1843, Charles Dickens prepares his famous annual feast at his home near Regents Park, but this year is different.

Watch the story of ‘A Christmas Carol’, the greatest festive tale ever told, be born in front of your eyes in the immersive Victorian experience.

Evening performances begin at 7.15pm (doors from 6pm), and matinees begin at 1pm (doors from 12pm).

Hogwarts in the Snow

The well known Harry Potter Studio Tour is being dressed for the festive season, inviting all to have a very ‘Harry Christmas’ at Hogwarts in the Snow.

From November 11 until January 14, the Studio tour will be decorated for Christmas with Christmas trees and gold decorations from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone allowing visitors to experience Christmas in the Wizarding World.

Other sets in the Studio Tour will also be decorated for Christmas such as the common rooms and Boys’ Dormitory to see how the sets looked whilst filming the Christmas scenes in the films.

Snow will cover the Forbidden Forest and the Christmas shop awaits all visitors wishing to buy souvenirs or gifts.

LaplandUK

For those willing to travel a little further afield, Swinley Forest hosts LaplandUK, a fully immersive 4 hour journey along the magical pathways of the Elven World.

The experience involves 4 hours of performances and activities such as making toys with the elves, decorating gingerbread with Mother Christmas, ice-skating, and a personalised meeting with Father Christmas. 

From November 11 until Christmas Eve, LaplandUK crafts a Hollywood film set in the pine forest and casts performers to bring the Elven Civilisation to life.

In 2007 the LaplandUK founders brought their Christmas stories to life with the creation of an immersive and authentic representation of Father Christmas’ arctic homeland in the UK.

Hamleys Santa’s Grotto

On selected dates from November 20 to December 24, Hamleys is giving families the opportunity to meet Santa and his enchanted elves at the Regent Street Store.

Visitors can also expect a special gift after their visit to remember the occasion.

Each session is 15 minutes long and takes place at selected times between 10am and 8pm.

Ticket prices differ depending on what session is booked but begin at £55 for 3 people.

The experience is aimed at those between the ages of 2-8, and every group booking must include at least one adult.
