Nambuccapalooza to showcase brightest talent as festival makes debut

London’s finest new music talent will take to the stage at the first-ever Nambuccapalooza in July.

Acts including Clapham’s Taxi Joe and Glass Peaks feature on the bill for the three-day festival.

Held at the world-famous Nambucca on Holloway Road, the event will showcase the best emerging talent from across the UK, with more than 25 acts performing at the venue between July 20-22.

Taking to the stage on Saturday are gritty girl/girl, Belfast/London, guitar/drums duo Rews (pictured), who are currently clocking up regular festival slots while drawing high praise from fans including radio presenter Mark Radcliffe.

Topping the bill on Friday will be The Wholls, described by Radio 1 as ‘an explosive 4 piece with killer hooks, frenzied live shows and rave reviews.’

Also appearing are Willesden-by-way-of-Italy trio Kiddiwinks. After forming in 2016, bassist Seph feels the festival is the perfect chance to expand their audience base.

He said: “What I love about festivals like this is that every band brings people along, so you’ve got a great opportunity to appeal to new people.

“We are really looking forward to playing there and hopefully winning over some new fans.”

There are limited weekend passes available for just £15, while day tickets are at £8 and there will be more available on the door throughout the festival.
